• Shiplift for Australian Submarine Corporation -
A 36 bogie heavy lift ship lift assembly was delivered to ASC in Western Australia in September. In association with Rolls Royce Naval Marine, Mace Engineering manufactured the complete mechanical assembly and delivered on time to the customer.
• Oil Distribution Boxes for ANZAC Frigates -
2 replacement oil distribution boxes for the ANZAC frigates were completed in August 2009 and delivered to the Australian Navy. These precision engineered components are critical for the propulsion system and Mace Engineering has been manufacturing them since the first ANZAC frigates were ordered.
• Fereday Island 3 x 90kw hydro electric runners and turbines -
Mace Engineering designed and built 3 90kw compact hydro generation assemblies for a private client in Canterbury, NZ. Working in close association with the client a design was developed to suit the low head situation on his property. The first of the runners are grid connected and surplus generation is feed into the local supply network.
