MACE PERFORMANCE PORTED THROTTLE BODY TO SUIT HOLDEN VY LS1 5.7L V8

This is a very cost effective way to bump up the performance of your Gen III LS1. The throat of the throttle body is slightly enlarged but what increases the area of flow by a staggering 21% is the smoothing over of the raised section at the entrance along with a minor linkage modification. This hump at the entrance restricts airflow drastically and creates a vortex of turbulent air which severely hinders performance.

By machining down this section, throttle response is fully restored as well as providing a satisfying increase in power of about 8rwkw and more depending on other modifications. This is all possible by simply switching your factory LS1 throttle body with our Mace re-manufactured performance unit. Also, the fact that the OEM throttle body is utilised in the modification process, all the original sensory plugs straight back in along with the accelerator cable meaning this is an incredibly headache-free performance upgrade.

• If you purchase this product on a changeover basis, you are required to send your throttle body to us first. Given your circumstances, if you prefer us to dispatch a throttle body first, an additional bond of $220 will be required. Your throttle body must be sent to us within 2 weeks after you receive ours, or the bond will be forfeited. 
• You must re-use your factory sensors.
• Throttle stop is not modified.
• We try to prep the throttle body as best we can for a direct bolt-on replacement, however, in some instances the idle speed screw may require slight adjustment once on the car.
