Exclusive to Mace Engineering, this cold air intake is a direct drop-in replacement for the existing air box assembly in Holden VL and a simple DIY modification would be required for VB to VK series.

  • Huge cold air entrance, maximising the amount of air captured behind the headlight region.
  • Made from a heat resistant extruded ABS plastic, ensuring your filter remains cool unlike other steel or aluminium enclosures on the market.
  • Won't rust or discolour like powder coated or aluminium enclosures on the market.
  • On road power gains of around 10kw at the rears are not uncommon, depending on modifications.
  • Improved drivability and throttle response.

Note: The air box lid will not be able to cater for the VR-VS washer bottle. To get around this, you can re-size the length of the filler neck, however this isn't recommended as it means you'll need to run a smaller pod filter, restricting the amount of air the motor can intake.
