PERFORMANCE M90 SUPERCHARGER PORTING SERVICE TO SUIT HOLDEN L67 SUPERCHARGED 3.8L V6

Whether you’re building a dedicated drag car or just enjoying some basic modifications, you will certainly be very happy with your ported supercharger as it works for all levels of modification.

The standard size outlet and inlet is considerably restricted to meet OE specifications, hence robbing you of precious horsepower. By porting the supercharger, outlet air temps. are reduced by up to 40 degrees depending on pulley size, generating an instant increase in power and torque with no tune required.

The inlet and elbow are meticulously hand ported to retain a uniform cross-sectional area throughout the body which is then gently smoothed over with specialised equipment to eliminate any turbulence. We can also CNC machine the outlet and open it up by a staggering 18%. The face of the outlet is then milled to increase the area between the outlet and the bottom of the inlet manifold, giving the air more time to distribute evenly. This is complimented by porting the lower intake manifold and the A2A plate (if applicable) too. 

Air which flows at a high velocity is highly sensitive to obstructions such as the one caused by the standard shaped housing and generates a lot of friction causing a buildup of heat and loss of power. This is why supercharger porting can be a very delicate process and if the ported surfaces aren’t made fluid and consistent or are enlarged past recommended limits then performance can be severely compromised. You can rest assured that with our sought after engineering, fabrication experience and steady hands, we will bring the M90’s displacement capabilities to its threshold without any detrimental effect.

We offer 2 different port profiles depending on the application. A water to air (W2A) profile and an air to air (A2A) profile. The former includes a larger machined section (completely removing the bridge) to make full use of our W2A intercooler plates. We also recommend opening up the inlet manifold to maintain a consistent area for the air to flow right through to the intake runner.

Notes:

• This service does not operate on a change-over basis. We require your supercharger to be sent to our workshop if any of these services are purchased. Please contact us for postage details.
• Once the outlet is ported, the two bottom bolts on the housing which protrude into rapid airflow should be trimmed.
• Each housing is sandblasted and given a fresh coat of factory paint for every complete port purchased.
• The disassembly of the supercharger is customer's responsibility, otherwise a $75 disassembly fee will be charged.
• Please email us all details regarding your build as the port job may need to be tailored to match. i.e throttle body size etc.
• 4-6 days turnaround for CNC machining.
