This timing service kit is ideal for when having to replace the infamous timing chains found on late model vehicles fitted with the Alloytec V6. As soon as these gaskets are disturbed, which is inevitable during disassembly, their sealing properties basically become ineffective. This would lead to further issues if they were to be re-used.
