Safely increasing cam lift or maximum engine RPM can require new valve springs. On the Ford Falcon and FPV models we use Crow Cam valve springs.

Crow Cam Kit contains 12 x springs & retainers

Why valve springs?

Crow Cam Valve Spring Kits are to suit performance engines running a larger camshaft or super charger and turbo applications with higher PSI than normal. These will suit high performance engine builds & as a stock replacement. For forced induction (turbo and supercharger) applications Crow Cams recommend up to 12 psi. 

What application?

This kit will suit the EL to AU engines from February 1998 to 2002. This kit will NOT suit EL engines prior to that date.

Please note: Head will require machining to suit, if you don't want to machine the heads we do have another valve spring option available here.
