Stroker kit range to suit Holden VN - VR V6, covers normally aspirated and boost applications for both street and competition applications.


Kit 1:

Stroker kit including our nodular iron full counterweight 3.700 stroke cast crank, 4340 steel forged 'I' beam conrods with capscrew bolts and press fit small ends. Cast hypereutectic alloy pistons in 9.5:1 to 10:1 compression ratios, moly rings, rod and main bearings. Complete assembly is fully balanced for use with GM or aftermarket Ecotec harmonic balancer. Customer must supply original flywheel for balancing

Kit 2:

Stroker kit including our nodular iron stroker crank, 4340 forged steel 'H' beam rods with capscrew bolts and fully floating bronze bushed small ends. This kit supplied with custom made Wiseco forged pistons in low or high compression versions for normally aspirated or boost application usage. Kit is fully balanced for use with Ecotec harmonic balancer. Customer must supply original flywheel for balancing.

 

Note: These Buick stroker kits can also be compatible with Buick series 1 motors only if they're mated to an automatic transmission from factory. In that case, you'll need to source an 8-bolt flywheel. Unfortunately, the series 1's fitted with manuals from factory had a different crankshaft which is why our stroker crank will not fit.

 

CAUTION: Mirror balancing is a very dangerous activity when it comes to the Holden V6.

If the direction of the build is changed it would be wise to have the kit sent back to us with the new extremities and balance it again. The problem is that correctly indexing the extremities on these engines is very difficult and safest to do the whole assembly as a unit.
