The CPR6 high-performance Alloytec V6 inlet manifold is the result of intense development and testing, as well as years of experience with cylinder head airflow research. 

Made from high-quality automotive-grade cast alloy, the CPR6 boasts far greater breathing and airflow characteristics than the factory product. Thanks to precision-machined mating surfaces, you're guaranteed proper fitment, right in place of the original manifold and using the factory bolts and hoses. 

It'll even fit under your original engine cover!

By simply providing your Alloytec V6 with more air and a cleaner intake path, you'll enjoy power gains of 11%; even on a stock engine! Through extensive dyno testing on real-world vehicles, we've seen gains of up to 60% on modified Alloytec engines.

These trunnion kits replace the factory LS rocker internals that are prone to failure when exposed to extended levels of high rpm, high valve spring pressures and amplified rotation from high-lift camshafts. The OE needle bearing housings can begin to separate from the rocker arm when exposed to these conditions, gradually spitting out all the needle rollers which in turn results in a catastrophe.

Our kits are engineered to provide maximum durability and stiffness in the harshest environments whilst still being super affordable for all enthusiasts. Extra security measures have been taken with the use of extended width trunnions with snap-ring grooves instead of the bearing housings only relying on a press-fit type fixture. There may be a discrepancy for vehicles built on dates that borderline the change-over of the design of the timing chain. We cannot guarantee what kit you require if this applies to your vehicle. You can confirm by removing one of the cam covers and inspecting the chains that run over the cam gears.

 

Caution:

Once assembled, the timing chain tensioners need to be fully released to maintain adequate tension. Simply pulling the pins is not enough. All tensioners must be pressed in by hand for the internal mechanism to fully pop out and operate effectively. Following this, the motor is to be rotated by hand one full revolution in a clockwise direction to ensure all parts have been fitted correctly. Failing to follow these steps will result in a noisy timing chain upon start up and will require the motor to be disassembled again to access the tensioners.

  • A Timing chain kit without idler and crankshaft gears can be purchased through another listing.
  • The oil pump guide may not fit on some engines.

With our new and innovative harmonic balancer removal tool, there is no need to extract the radiator or thermo fans, making removal and installation quick and easy. Designed in-house using a very comprehensive 3D design package, our 3-jaw setup squarely removes the balancer without causing any damage to surrounding components.

The main bolt diameter and Rockwell hardness for the relevant assemblies have been carefully researched and selected based on genuine engineering resources. The mammoth M20 thread on the main bolt is the largest compared to any other balancer puller currently available in the market, meaning you can rest assured the threads won't strip even whilst removing the most stubborn balancers.

Modern vehicles rely on 'fly by wire' throttle technology to measure pedal pressure & position to send signals to the engine's computer and convert it to acceleration. Many of these systems have a noticeable delay. iDrive throttle controller reduces this lag and improves response to make the acceleration feel more responsive.

Featured Modes:

EVC throttle controllers are equipped with a very intuitive display and settings menu for easy use. There are 4 modes that offer different settings for different driving styles and conditions.

 

1. Normal Mode (--): Normal mode is simply a replication of the factory settings, essentially the iDRIVE is switched off.

2. Economy Mode (E): Economy mode has 9 settings that reduce the response from the pedal. The higher you go the more dampened your throttle response becomes, by dampening the throttle we can see increases in fuel economy as well as far greater control of your vehicles traction in off-road situations.

3. Ultimate Performance Mode (U): Ultimate performance mode has 9 settings and can be grouped into three stages:

  • Ultimate mode 1-3: Everyday driving with smooth acceleration.
  • Ultimate mode 4-6: Sportier, more responsive acceleration, great for use around town where short bursts of acceleration are needed.
  • Ultimate mode 7-9: Strap yourself in and activate launch control, instant throttle response, beast mode, don’t say we didn’t warn you.

4. Automatic control (AC) Mode: Automatic control is essentially a set and forget mode. Fly-by-wire throttle systems have two potentiometers, one to measure how hard you press the pedal and the other to measure how far you’ve pushed the pedal. In automatic mode the Idrive can determine these measures for you and adjust the throttle response to suit.

Note: It can take a few days to get used to the EVC different modes and what works best for the driver. We recommend starting on or around Ultimate mode 4 (U4), this gives the driver plenty of throttle response to notice a substantial difference, without being too much to handle straight out of the box. Once the driver is comfortable with the different Ultimate mode settings, then we recommend experimenting with Automatic and Economy Mode.
