These stock height engine mounts are made from 5mm laser cut steel plate and are precision folded for increased strength and accurate fitment. These are all jigged up when welded and finished in gloss black enamel paint. The centre cylindrical rubber bush is 50mm in diameter and joins the two halves of the mount with a 13mm thru bolt. The heavy duty bush is always under compression regardless of the direction of the applied load. It absorbs engine vibration very well but increases resistance the more the motor moves, reducing the movement to about 5mm.

Great for use as a standard replacement engine mount or a circuit, speedway, drift and drag racing application. Also ideal for turbo cars and cars with large diameter headers with tight engine bay clearances.

Can be used individually on the passenger side in conjunction with a factory mount on the driver’s side to reduce the engine lifting under acceleration and maintain a smooth factory feel, or in pairs to stiffen up the front end and significantly reduce engine movement during acceleration and high speed cornering, acceleration and deceleration.

Thermostats play a vital role in engine management. Thermostats can fail in 2 possible manners; open or close position. If stuck open, the engine's heater will operate at reduced efficiency for an extended period of time or if stuck shut, will cause your cars engine to overheat leading to costly repairs or ultimately “complete engine failure”.

Designed to OEM specifications, Dayco thermostats come with a heat sensing wax filled copper power pill that detects the coolant temperature in the engine. The Dayco thermostats amazing heat sensing power pill controls coolant flow from the radiator when the engine is cold to reach optimum operating temperature quickly. It then allows coolant to circulate through the engine when operating temperature is reached to create the perfect temperature controlled engine environment.

Lower Temperature Thermostats:

Thermostats that are engineered to open at lower temperatures are suited for more hostile environments and performance builds. If you're located in area that is exposed to constant hot weather, these thermostats will allow coolant to begin flowing through the engine sooner, keeping it cooler for longer. As for performance engines, given the amount of heat they generate, a cooler thermostat will prolong heat soak which equates to higher horsepower gains. especially handy when sitting in the line at the drag-strip. Even greater results are possible if the fan enable temps are adjusted accordingly.
