These trunnion kits replace the factory LS rocker internals that are prone to failure when exposed to extended levels of high rpm, high valve spring pressures and amplified rotation from high-lift camshafts. The OE needle bearing housings can begin to separate from the rocker arm when exposed to these conditions, gradually spitting out all the needle rollers which in turn results in a catastrophe.
Our kits are engineered to provide maximum durability and stiffness in the harshest environments whilst still being super affordable for all enthusiasts. Extra security measures have been taken with the use of extended width trunnions with snap-ring grooves instead of the bearing housings only relying on a press-fit type fixture. ARP head studs greatly improve head-to-block sealing, which is important in engines with high power adders such as turbochargers, superchargers or nitrous. They can even be a great addition to a mildly modified build as insurance against failure.

This engine mount is made from 5mm laser cut steel plate and is precision folded for increased strength and accurate fitment. It is all jigged up when welded and finished in gloss black enamel paint. The centre cylindrical rubber bush is 50mm in diameter and joins the two halves of the mount with a 13mm thru bolt. The heavy duty bush is always under compression regardless of the direction of the applied load. It absorbs engine vibration very well but increases resistance the more the motor moves, reducing the movement to about 5mm.
Great for use as a standard replacement engine mount or a circuit, speedway, drift and drag racing application. Also ideal for turbo cars and cars with large diameter headers with tight engine bay clearances.
Can be used individually on the passenger side in conjunction with a factory mount on the driver’s side to reduce the engine lifting under acceleration and maintain a smooth factory feel, or in pairs to stiffen up the front end and significantly reduce engine movement during acceleration and high speed cornering, acceleration and deceleration.
The reduced height engine mount is specially designed for supercharged applications or high rise manifolds where extra hood clearance is required. Positions engine approximately 10mm lower on Commodores and up to 20mm lower on HSV's.
