Even then, specific conditions need to be met for the engine to make peak power. This can become quite frustrating and even unsafe in some circumstances. The Mace throttle controller eliminates this delay that exists between the throttle pedal and the butterfly in the throttle body, re-establishing throttle response and bottom-end acceleration.

In addition to sharper throttle response, our controllers also have an economy mode which basically does the opposite. By powering down the signal to the throttle, the delay in throttle response is magnified. The benefit being improved fuel economy over longer trips and smoother transitions in throttle percentage. These modes have a number of stages to select from to either increase or decrease intensity.
